LOVE IN MOVIES by Bridgite Gissell Lozano and Sinaí Gonzalez 4° ‘C’ T/M

Love
By Bridgite

When we say ‘Love in movies’ it’s not necessarily referring to couple love or being in love, love can be found from a child with his dog, up to a woman expecting her baby, but at this moment I will be talking about Romantic movies.

There are a lot of Romantic movies as you may know, but up until now, I keep asking myself this… Why men don’t like Romantic movies as most women do? I have a lot of theories… One of them tells that men are afraid of love, but once they know love, they can’t escape.
My other theory says that they are taking care of their pride; in their hearts, they do like Romantic movies but someone told them not to watch them because only women could watch them, and if they do, they’ll be weaker. Maybe it’s none of these theories; maybe it’s just men’s nature.

Most of the time Romantic movies end up with a very happy or very sad ending, but the main topic of these movies is LOVE.
At the very beginning maybe the principal characters hadn’t even met yet, but as the movie goes on, the woman/man that said she/he will never like him/her, starts to fall in love. But life can’t be always pink, there must be something or someone that may stop their relation, when this happens, you can guess there will be a happy ending, but this happiness can turn and finish with a sad ending too, anyways it doesn’t matter if it’s sad or happy ending, watching this movies you can have an idea of what true love is and how powerful it is; the more realistic, the better the movie.

Mature people will know what true love means, because they can feel it, love can bring a very bright smile and shiny eyes, or tearing eyes and wet cheeks. Every person must carry love; a person without love will have huge holes in their heart.

Love
By Sinaí.

When we think about love, we picture ourselves being adored, liked and admired by someone we consider special and unique.
Love is a strong word as feeling, sometimes easy to say but not to feel. In my way to think love is the only thing that can move mountains and change people in its totality. Some people think the opposite, that it is the foulest thing.
Love shows up in teenagers at first, by crushes with the most popular girl or boy, or with your closest friend.
There’s no way to express the sensations that produces to ourselves as butterflies in our stomach, sweaty hands, nervousness, stutter, and an impressive electric charge from the feet to the head back and forth.
Movies try so hard to introduce the concept of love, mostly all the time in love triangles between the characters that makes them feel pain, suffer, sadness, few moments of happiness and joy that touch the ones are watching it. What I don’t really like is that movies about it create a fantasy to the spectators and doesn’t demonstrate the reality of the facts. But when you analyze why they do that kind of stuff, you remember that everything that surrounds yourself is in its boiling point almost to explode. Life is complicated with wars between families, friends and countries, with misfortunes and poorness everywhere you look not only in possessions but in heart too. That’s the reason they directors tend to film lots of tear-jerking movies that at the end love succeeds.
The movies I chose to recommend are 500 days of Summer and Just go with it. The first one leaves you sort of knowledge and changes your perspective of the “happy endings” that not all the time we need it to happen to have a great end.
And Just go with it is a perfect movie to be watch with your friend, couple, or family member because it tells you that after all the bad things that had happen to you love is the closest thing to magic that can fix all up.
